Dear Aspirants ,
Welcome to my blog ClearUPPSC.
In today's post I will discuss on study material for Review Officer prelims examination.
1. Current Affairs : News Paper or any mobile app or website as per your convenience .You can also study Chronicle Monthly or any other magazine as per your interest. As I had mentioned in previous post as well that you can follow any source but make sure that you study the current affairs on daily basis and make short notes of them.In this exam the current affairs of last 6 months are asked so all the events of national and international importance should be on your finger tip.As the exam is in April month so cover the current affairs till mid March .
2-Geography : As there is very less time left in prelims exam so we need to cover only that part which is important.I would suggest you to don't go for multiple resources and stick to only class 6th to 12th geography NCERTs .Once you complete the NCERT go through Lucent geography section and Ghatna Chakra geography .As mentioned earlier as well you should memorize the previous year questions with their correct answers.
3-Indian Polity : There is no need to read any other book apart from LakshmiKant .Once you memorize the LakshmiKant just cover the previous year question papers and you can score 100% marks in this section.
4- General Science : Science portion in Lucent and previous years question papers of UPPSC Upper ,lower and RO exam .
5- Economy : Budget ,Economic Survey ,Lucent Economy section and previous year question papers.
6-Indian History : NCERT class 11th and 12th ,Lucent history portion ,Ghatnachakra History ,previous years question papers.
7- Indian national Movement : Lucent Indian National Movement portion ,GhatnaChakra ,S.K.Pandey national movement and previous year question papers.
8-Hindi : Haridev Vahri ,Vasudev Nandan Pandey ,previous year question papers.
9-Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning : R.S. Agarwal.
10-UP Special : Ghatnachakra and previous year question papers.
11- Miscellaneous : Lucent
So ,start your preparation and cover as much as you can.I would suggest you to finish all the syllabus by mid march and then start revision only.
Best of Luck.
